Water in the lemon


Why I think it’s so important to try and drink lemon & water each morning on an empty stomach before your first meal! This is a simple thing you can add to your daily routine that can have a large impact on your health and your skin! Lemon is super high in vitamin c, vitamin A, folate, Calcium and potassium just to make a few.


When you have this drink first thing in the morning your feeding your skin an important dose of the vitamin folate.


This helps to eliminate toxins from your body which can help with skin issues too. It acts as as a detoxifying agent.




Steps

  1. Cut a lemon in half and squeeze the juice of one lemon half into the mug/heatproof cup.

  2. Add the warm, filtered water to the lemon juice—make sure you do not add boiled water as this would destroy some of the therapeutic properties of lemon.

  3. Consume on an empty stomach.
